I recall using a similar Rubank book many (54!) years ago. So, at the recommendation of a private instructor which I recently engaged, I obtained this book. It has been very helpful in my "relearning" process. It contains the tune "Lightly Row," the very first melody I learned to play on the flute over five decades ago.

I recommend this book for a beginning flute player, or for anyone in a position similar to mine.

We purchased a set of 8 handbells for Christmas and bought this book to go with it. The songs are fun, there is a nice collection. Only complaint is that it isn't color coded. My kids read music but they still were looking for colors to match their hand bell versus the notes. Otherwise fun to have.
