i took a chance on purchasing this item after reading a review saying you can carry it over your shoulder as well. that's what i was looking for in a music stand bag. as you can see by the images i uploaded, it looks nothing like Amazon's product image.

i didn't want to hold a music stand bag with my hand, but i wanted to carry it over my shoulder. this bag was the one! love it! looks good, compact, has shoulder strap, and carries my Musicians Gear music stand with some extra space at the top.
