This unit holds the guitar in a very solid position. It allows the left foot to rest flat on the floor in a more natural and comfortable position. I love. The only complaint I have is that in its lowest adjustment my guitar was slightly to high - Otherwise I would rate it a solid 5. However the guitar rest was easily modified by bending the top of the adjustment slide over at 90 degrees. This allowed me to adjust the guitar a little lower (About 1/2 inch) for a perfect height.
