I bought only one of these after reading reviews of various tuning forks. I wanted to make sure that it was good enough. Well, it rang well and is in perfect tune with the caibrated tuning fork I keep in my cello case. I rang both forks and used my cello bridge as a resonator. There were no beats and my A and D (harmonics) strings sounded in response. I was surprised by this since the ends of the fork didn't have any griding marks like my old tuning fork.So I bought two more. One for my wife and one for the car. Same thing. Both forks were in perfect tune.
They aren't quite as loud as my old one, which is the same size, but they're loud enough.
