I just spent the past few weeks putting together a very nice, but modestly priced tenor banjo, and I needed a decent, but not too ridiculous hard case for it. I looked around at all of the different makes and models including some of the higher priced ones out there (TKL, Superior, etc.), but I settled on this one, and I'm glad I did. In fact, I could not be happier! It was the perfect choice for my application. Sure, its no Lamborghini or Ferrari, but at this price-point, its made of nicely stout (heavyweight) construction, with clean, durable exterior tolex covering and a perfectly gorgeous black fur interior. Perhaps best of all, the fit was 'dyno-mite' for my 11" resonator tenor - snug as a der bug in der rug! The enclosed banjo literally cannot budge!
