The clip slips over the bottom lip of your stand and a 12 inch clear plastic arm covers from bottom to top of one page of your music. There is a metal clip reinforcing the plastic where it goes over the lip of the stand, so it should firmly attach to the stand for a long time.

I like this clip much better than the 'close-pin' types which tend to be shorter, attach to the sides, and bend out from the music (this one touches the page its entire length).

You may want to get two for windy situations.

Van Halen: Live without a Net Review

I've been a VH fan since 1979. The sheer energy they put form both live and on their studio works was second to none. Edward was the master guitarist of the up and comers and this DVD proves what he could do when he's not tanked!!. The band is having a great time and the tunes rock. If you liked the DLR years (and I do) but have a hate on for the post DLR years, you're missing a very good live DVD. Sammy was fronting the band at this point and time and he was a very good choice. Sure the band dynamic changed with him in and Dave out, but life goes on. VH in 1986 was a great live band with or without Dave and this DVD proves it. Sound is good as is the quality for the most part. If you like VH and you enjoy watching a band have fun live this DVD is for you.

Wittner 811M Metronome with Bell, Mahogany Review

We love our Wittner Metronome - it keeps excellent time, looks great, and seeing the physical swing of the pendulum is helpful. We purchased one with a bell (the 814) - it works nicely, but we haven't actually used the bell while practicing.

One thing to note is that in terms of quality the model number matters! If there is a K after the number it is a plastic case. Furthermore, many of the 'wood casing' models (e.g. 801, 803) are only wood veneer - if you look at Wittner's website they have descriptions like 'mahogany-coloured', 'walnut-coloured', etc. To get one made of genuine walnut you need to get the 804 (or 814 with bell).
