I do not have a music stand that thin and tiny that this bag is useful for...it is sturdy looking enough but I wound up using it as a bag for a small camera tripod and it still fits tight and incompletely. I am afraid that this product is a waste of time and money. It says it is large but do not be mislead...it is anything but large and I have never seen a music stand that would ever be able to fit into this tiny bag.
