What a great idea! A half size music stand that could attach to the shaft of a mic stand or, removing the lower knob, screwed right onto a mic stand. Brilliant.

A music stand can be a large visual barrier, separating the performer from the audience. To mitigate this, they are best set as flat as possible, which makes them tend to disappear. This one will not go flat, either directly between you and the stand or pivoted to the side. It will tip back only about as far as you see in the photo, when it hits the vertical shaft.

Because I have tools, I was able to drill out the rivets holding the bracket to the flat piece and redrill it so the bracket attaches up near the top instead of at the bottom. It works beautifully now. Other members of the band are going to buy these for holding the set list in easy view, but I will have to modify them all so they can function properly.
