The foam in this bag is super thick, providing lots of protection for my uke. The front pouch is just big enough for a little tuner and some picks. The handles are well placed, as well. My ONE complaint is the length of the shoulder strap. I like to wear the case across my back, with the strap going diagonally across my chest. I'm a medium sized person, and it's only just long enough to do that for me. If I were any larger, the strap would be too short.
