This is a good, solid case. We purchased it for a 1936 Rickenbacker bakelite steel guitar. It's a near perfect fit, just had to make a few alterations (which we anticipated). The only complaint I would have is that the hygrometer fell out after the first use, but a little bit of glue quickly remedied the problem, so it's good as new. I would recommend this product to a friend without hesitation, in fact, I already have!
